All quotations are free and valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on information available at the time of inspection.
Any changes to materials, design, or site conditions may result in an updated quote.
Acceptance of a quotation constitutes a binding contract between you (“the Client”) and Cherry Tree Fencing and Landscaping Ltd.
A deposit (usually 20%) may be required to secure your booking and cover material costs.
The balance is due upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment methods accepted: bank transfer, cash, or card (where available).
Late payments may incur interest at 5% above the Bank of England base rate until settled.
All materials remain our property until full payment has been received.
All work will be completed in line with the quotation provided.
We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to designs, layouts, or materials if necessary, such as due to availability or safety.
The Client must ensure all necessary permissions (e.g., planning, boundary consent) are in place prior to commencement.
You must provide access to electricity, water, and the work area throughout the project duration.
The Client must inform us of any underground services, hidden obstructions, or known hazards before work begins.
We are not responsible for damage to unknown or unmarked underground pipes, cables, or roots.
Unexpected ground conditions (e.g., rock, poor drainage) may lead to additional charges to cover extra time or materials.
Start and completion dates are estimates and may vary depending on weather or supply conditions.
We are not liable for delays caused by extreme weather, illness, material shortages, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Should a delay occur, we will rearrange work at the earliest suitable time.
All materials are of high quality and sourced from reputable suppliers, but natural variations in colour, texture, and grain may occur.
If a specified material is unavailable, a suitable equivalent will be used with your approval.
Work is carried out by trained professionals to high industry standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion.
The guarantee covers defects due to poor workmanship or materials supplied by us.
It does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, weather, ground movement, or third-party interference.
Timber is a natural product and may split, warp, or change colour over time — this is not considered a defect.
Cancellations must be made in writing as soon as possible.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the agreed start date may incur charges for materials or preparation already undertaken.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone work if site access is restricted, unsafe, or if payment terms are breached.
We comply with all relevant health and safety laws to protect our staff, clients, and the public.
Clients must ensure pets, children, and visitors stay clear of work areas.
You must not interfere with our equipment or materials during work.
All waste generated during the project will be removed from the site unless otherwise agreed.
Standard waste disposal is included in the quotation. Additional charges may apply for hazardous or excessive waste.
Cherry Tree Fencing and Landscaping Ltd shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss resulting from delays or defects.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total value of the contract.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights under UK law.
We may take photos of completed projects for our portfolio, website, or social media.
No personal or identifiable property details will be published.
If you prefer us not to use images of your project, please let us know in writing before work starts.
We respect your privacy and comply with the UK Data Protection Act and GDPR.
Your personal details (name, address, contact info) are collected solely for communication, invoicing, and records.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
